Project Impact

This grant project intends to develop the HiMNY-RTC as a capacity building center for training and research to increase both the number of faculty conducting research and Hispanic student scholars who address the mental health needs of Hispanic mothers with serious mental illness.

The HiMNY-RTC will increase the research capacity of Mercy University faculty and students in maternal mental health and health disparities, thereby increasing student scholar abilities to be effective clinicians and researchers creating practical solutions for underrepresented Hispanic mothers within their communities.
