Commencement Information

Questions? If you have any questions about the ceremonies, please email commencement@mercy.edu.

Graduates and families must arrive 90 minutes prior to their ceremony. When you arrive at the Westchester County Center, graduates will be directed to the robing area on the lower level of the County Center to check-in, get assistance with putting on their regalia, and line up for the procession. Guests of graduates will be directed to their seats in the auditorium. Graduates are asked to wear comfortable shoes.

Graduates are asked to leave all personal items (handbags, backpacks, gifts, etc.) with their guests as they may not return to their original seat after crossing the stage.

You can purchase your regalia online for shipping to an address of your choosing or pick up at your campus bookstore. The portal for online orders closes on March 15. If you are not able to make your purchase online, don’t worry, you can still purchase your regalia in person at your campus bookstore starting April 15. There is no need for sizing or fitting. Call the Bookstore at (914) 674-3603 to make other arrangements if you are unable to visit the bookstore in person.

To pick up the correct regalia for your degree, please check your Degree Audit on Mercy Connect before purchasing your commencement attire.

All guests of the Westchester County Center must abide by the Center’s policies. All guests will be required to follow security procedures, including the use of metal detectors in the search of a person and/or personal possessions. For more information, please visit countycenter.biz/policies.

Complimentary parking will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to carpool, as there are limited parking spots at County Center. For more information about parking and directions to County Center, please visit: countycenter.biz/directions-and-parking

*Please note that parking is located across from the County Center in the two lots highlighted below.
