I have been a school psychologist for the past 11 years. I fell in love with higher education when I started as an adjunct at Western Connecticut State University in 2017 in the undergraduate and graduate psychology programs. In addition, I took on a one-year appointed position at Mount Saint Mary College, which deepened my love for contributing to all aspects of higher education. Being able to guide and support students as they enter the mental health field has always felt like an honor and calling. My dissertation focused on resilience and personality traits, which continues to be an area of research interest. I am also looking to dive into further research on resilience and adverse childhood experiences/trauma.
