I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with a deep passion for mental health, education, and leadership development. I have been teaching at Mercy University since June 2021, bringing both academic and real-world experience to the classroom. My journey in education began as a high school teacher from 2007 to 2009. After gaining extensive experience in the counseling field, I transitioned to higher education in 2021.
Currently, I serve as an Adjunct Professor at Mercy, where I guide students in their professional growth within the field of counseling. Previously, I also held the role of Mental Health Counseling Admissions Interviewer, assisting in the selection of future mental health professionals. I am committed to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can apply theoretical knowledge to real-world clinical settings. Through my courses, I aim to equip future counselors with the skills necessary to make meaningful contributions to the field of mental health.
Beyond academia, I am the co-founder of S.T.E.P.S. Counseling & Consulting, Inc., where I provide mental health services and consulting for schools and corporate organizations. I have also worked as a school counselor, further strengthening my expertise in student development and wellness. Outside of my professional roles, I am happily married with two children, balancing my career with my commitment to family.
