Nicole Dator

Dr. Dator is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience working in the specialty of psychiatric mental health nursing. Dr. Dator joined the School of Nursing as a full-time assistant professor in 2022. Prior to accepting a full-time role in academic, she has provided psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment to adults, adolescents, and children at a community health center in Danbury, CT. Dr. Dator has previously taught as an adjunct professor at the College of New Rochelle’s nursing program and has been teaching since 2017.

Dr. Dator teaches the Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing undergraduate course as well as distance education courses, Introduction to Health Policy. She has 7 years of experience teaching and has practiced in the specialty of psychiatric-mental health nursing for 17 years.
