Mercy College Ranked 15th Nationally in Intelligent.com’s Best Online Master’s in Early Childhood Education Degree Program
Mercy College is proud to share that the College’s online Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education Program has been ranked 15th by Intelligent.com, a resource that provides unbiased research to help students make informed decisions about their higher education futures. The 2020 ranking also considers the College to have the best “birth to grade 2” focus out of the 50 schools evaluated.
Intelligent.com assessed 476 accredited college and universities in the nation to create the comprehensive ranking. They evaluated each childhood education program on a scale of 0 to 100 based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation and post-graduate employment. Out of the 476 analyzed schools, only 50 made it to the final ranking list.
According to Intelligent.com, “Students who pursue any one of these programs can expect to gain employment much quicker in comparison to candidates without a degree.”
Dr. Elena Nitecki, Chair of the Early Childhood and Childhood Education Program, responded, “Our department is happy to have received recognition on a national scale.
